How
long does it take for my account to be created?
Accounts are created immediately
and automatically upon completion of the signup
process. You can then access your account using
the login information provided.
How
long will it take me to build a site?
How long it will take depends
on a variety of factors, such as how many pages
your website will have, how much content it will
include, etc. The most effective method of building
a site involves planning it out first. Take the
time to sketch a general layout, and plan ahead
what pages you'll create. Many customers can complete
their site in just a few minutes, while others
update their pages on a daily basis.
What
are the system requirements?
Although certain portions of
our service will function with any browser, we
have set a minimum browser specification in order
to ensure that we can offer the same powerful
features to all users. Therefore, Internet Explorer
5.5 or higher is required in order to access the
service.

General Questions
Do
I need to know HTML?
No coding or programming is
required. Our Network Manager with QuickEditor
technology is completely easy to use. Just highlight
a text area on the page and start typing. Simply
click on the image area and select a photo to
place.
Can
I upload image files?
Yes. JPEG and GIF images can
be uploaded to your media space.
Can
I upload media files (.doc, .pdf, .etc.)?
Yes. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint,
Excel, Publisher, Visio, Adobe Acrobat PDF, and
text document files can be uploaded to your media
space, as well as WAV, MIDI, and MP3 audio files.

Domain Name
How
do I register my domain name?
Upon completion of signup,
we register your domain name for you. You will
see a charge for the url registration of $9.95
on the confirmation page. We will pay the annual
renewal fee automatically and add a one time $10
charge to your monthly draft.
Do
I own my domain?
Yes. Although we will register
and manage the technical aspects of your domain
name, you are the owner and maintain ownership
of the domain even if you cancel your Network
Generator account. In the event of cancellation,
we will assist you with transferring your domain
to a new host.
What
if I cancel?
Your Network Generator account
can be cancelled at anytime, and you will maintain
full ownership of your domain name(s).
I
already own a domain. Can I transfer it?
Yes. We would be happy to assist
you in pointing your existing domain name to your
new website.
Can
I have more than one domain?
Yes. Additional domains can
be purchased for $10 and pointed at your website.

I Already Have a Website
What
if I already have a domain name?
Your existing domain name can
be pointed at your new website. We will be happy
to assist you during the transfer process.
Can
I copy my website to Network Generator?
Most websites and existing
content can be completely copied to your Network
Generator account for an additional charge. Contact
our support team for more information.

Email Questions
Does
my plan come with email?
Yes, included in your account
is 10 email boxes. Email addresses are fully branded
(you@yourdomain.com) and can be accessed using
email software, and/or web mail.
What
is Web Mail?
All email accounts may be accessed
though web mail, which allows you to manage your
email messages by visiting your custom web mail
site (webmail.yourdomain.com). Customers can read
and composed messages through this interface,
as well as manage account, spam and rule settings.
What
is POP3/IMAP?
POP3 and IMAP are protocols
for accessing your email accounts. POP3 will download
messages to your computer, and works well if you
only read your email from one computer. IMAP synchronizes
messages, and will allow you to access your email
from multiple computers while keeping their status
and content synchronized. Customers can choose
whichever method best suits their needs, and can
change at any time.
What
email software is compatible?
Almost all current desktop
email software is compatible with POP3. Most software
is compatible with IMAP, including Microsoft Outlook
and Outlook Express 6.
